Day of Tears

We woke up today to rainy overcast skies. It is okay, because it is a very sad day. Today, John and Maggy will go through all the emotions that accompany saying goodbye to one they love. I cannot begin to imagine the pain of losing a child. Their hearts must be so broken. So today, please pray for them, pray for all those who loved this young man. Ask God to give them comfort and peace. Ask Him to surround them with hope and love as they face this day of tears.

Oh Neva,
my heart is just breaking for them. There is no heartache greater than that of losing a child. That is what so amazing about God's sacrifice for us.
I will have them in my thoughts throughout the day.

My heart cries out with prayers for them, and for all the other parents that are facing this separation from their cherished kids....and I include among them, the family of Stephen Curtis Chapman - especially his son that will live the rest of his life with the image of his 5-year old sister being run over by the wheels of his vehicle.

Our Sunday morning class has a special prayer for our kids. They are under terrible attack by satan and his minions. Please join us in the petition of protection for our children.

Neva - I send you and this family my enwrapping hug of love and consolation - may the LORD make His presence known to them during these horribly difficult days to follow!

Too much pain! Thank You, LORD for heaven’s promises!!

In the Light of His love, grace and mercy

I can't even imagine their pain, and while I don't know them, I feel their sorrow and I weep with them.

I have been praying for them ever since I heard the news. We prayed for them in worship today and they are on our prayer list. The loss of a child is the most horrendous loss. I remember well the anger and the questions and the struggle to maintain hope. My heart is heavy for them.
