A few years ago I bought a book called If Questions For The Soul. The book contians question after question beginning with the word, "if". I have used this book many times, as ice breakers for church parties, as conversation starters at dinner parties and just fun for teens. So today, I thought I would see how the realm of blogdom liked to answer an if question. Please, please respond and along with your answer, tell why you picked that answer.

I would like to see the parting of the Red Sea. The idea that the water would become a wall and the land would become dry. It would be incredible to see the faces of the Israelites and of the Egyptians. So that has my vote.

I can't even account for the fact of this keyboard's existence or me being here to type on it.
If we have the eyes of an infant we see that the whole thing is a miracle. We're just so used to everything being the way it is that we mistake this for really knowing something about how and why reality is what it is.

I would choose to see the pillar of fire that guided the Israelites by night. That would be great to see---awe inspiring.

I was thinking along the lines of the miracles Jesus did so I was thinking that I would love to see a paralyzed man be able to stand up and walk. But, my five year old son and I have been studying about the parting of the Red Sea and I think that would have to be the one I'd want to see, as long as Morgan could see it with me!!
I am thinking I would like to see valley of dry bones get up and walk. In my mind, when I picture it, I see all these skeletons dancing and such. Amazing story, huh?

According to our fertility specialist, I did witness three miracles. I would have liked to have been at the tomb when Jesus came out - that was a pretty big miracle!

Love in the brotherhood the way it was commanded in John 13:34-35. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."(NIV)
This would really be something. No more grudges, complaining, hurt feelings or misunderstandings. Think of the work that could be done. That would be a miracle I would like to see.

I would want to see this world and humankind returned to the purity of Creation as shown to us in Genesis 1 and 2 - to see God's creation returned to its original intended state and to be in face-to-face communication with Him.
I think I would most like to see the raising of Lazarus. That would be incredible, the whole story.

I have always thought it would be awesome to see the transfiguration. To be in the presence of such great men of faith and Jesus, wow!

Having given birth to four perfect little babies, I'm still amazed at the miracle of birth, so not much can top that. However, I think watching the parting of the Red Sea or Jesus feeding the five thousand would be amazing, too.

Sorry I haven't been able to look at your blog in a couple of days, so I am posting this late but it is my favorite miracle. I would want to see the the fire come from heaven and consume the offering, water and rocks in the story of Elijah on Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18). I know "the Lord is God" but it would confirm it so much more to see it first hand.
(This is my favorite miracle besides the comments of Kathy and our three.)

Neva, I would have to say seeing Lazarus brought back to life because of the love Jesus had for him and his family. What an awesome thing to see.

Any of those listed above would be wonderful, but at this point in my life the miracle I would love to experience is having a child. To me, it is the most poignant and dear.
