When the devil gives you lemons . . .

. . . God gives you flowers! I just have to share with you the most amazing blessing! It seems that a local supercenter type store has very specific rules regarding their floral shipments. If the truck is more than 30 minutes late, the flowers are considered unusable and are disposed of. This very thing happened yesterday---but rather than dispose of the flowers, 12-14 cases were brought to the facility where I work. After vases of spring bouquets were delivered throughout the facility and placed in every nook and cranny, there were still several cases left over. Four cases were given to me and so last night, as soon as I got off work, Ned and I spent over three hours delivering beautiful spring bouquets to all the church ladies. It was so wonderful to walk up to the door and hand each beautiful woman a beautiful bouquet. They were thrilled and so were we. Ain't God cool?

Blessings
Neva

Neva...
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing this story...It's so like God to send flowers when we need them. And it's a compliment to you that you knew where they came from - and instead of keeping them for yourself, you shared them with others. That’s our call – to give out bouquets of his love just as he gave his love to us.

Thanks for sharing; I appreciate your heart...

BTW- God really is Cool!

Awwwww . . . that was sweet of you and Ned. I bet it was fun--giving always benefits the giver as well as the receiver.
Good job

I would have loved to have seen the faces of all the church ladies.

I remember watching the face of my grandma,(who was homebound), light up when she received unexpected visitors/gifts.

You can bet that those flowers will the the topic of conversation for a very long time!

Who says God doesn't pay any attention to our tough days? Look at that!

Flowers, flowers and more flowers. Just what the doctor ordered!

As Carlos says, God is so cool! :)

There is no telling what some of those women had been going through, lately. I'm sure that those visits and flowers touched lives in ways that we have no idea about, but you letting God use you in that way...He knows what was needed by them. God bless you and others for letting God use you in the lives of others.
